While my friends and I have been discussing about the latest Lady Gaga trends and the dangers some of her fashion styles create (remember the circle lens used by many teens without proper prescription just to get the huge-eyes look Gaga showcased in her “Bad Romance” video), we cannot help but talk about Halloween costumes.
As for me, this looks crazy enough to grab some attention yet sane enough to keep a little bit of dignity!

In her “Bad Romance” video, Lady Gaga appeared with larger eyes, which somehow caused a stir among teens around the world in search for ways to follow this latest Gaga trend, including the use of circle lens without proper prescription and medical guidance.
The problem is that ophthalmologists don’t think this is safe. In fact, experts warn that this could lead to infection and eye damage. Dr. Marc Werner of Stahl Eye Center stresses that a contact lens is a medical device that needs to be used under the guidance and instructions of a qualified health professional and must be fitted to the patient’s eyes. One should not simply buy circle lenses without prescription over the internet just to be able to look like Lady Gaga in her video.
