According to reports, Coco kissed Maja, his onscreen partner in the ABS-CBN series Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin, on the lips. This drove Matteo, who Maja later confirmed is her real life boyfriend, fuming mad. He went after Coco, grabbed and attacked him. Coco fought back, leaving Matteo with a bloody lip.

Maja, after admitting her relationship with Matteo on the showbiz-oriented talk show The Buzz, said she is not sure where their relationship is heading after the incident.

Star Magic, in an official press release, said what happened was just a case of “misunderstanding,” and that Coco and Matteo are both sorry for it.

Matteo issued an apology in Happy Yipee Yehey on Monday, saying “I’m very, very sorry for what happened. It was a very unnecessary matter. Sorry talaga sa nangyari. Sa lahat ng fans, mga bosses namin, sorry po talaga. Tita Cory, Sir Deo, nandun sila. Sa lahat ng tao na naapektuhan, the biggest sorry. I’m very sad.”

John Estrada, one of Happy Yipee Yehey‘s main hosts, maintained a neutral stand as he is also working with Coco in Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin. He said “Coco, welcome kang pumunta rito sa Happy Yipee Yehey para ibigay ang panig mo. Hindi lang ito para sa panig ni Matt.”

Before I proceed, let me clarify that I am not homophobic and I have quite a number of close friends who are gay. It was, however, the first time I saw a gay man inside the ladies’ comfort room, which would tell you that as far as I know, my gay friends go to the men’s comfort room. This got me into thinking — which comfort room should they really go to?

Whichever they choose, there’s the question on how comfortable the other people would be knowing that they are doing their “private business” with a gay man inside the room. Given his sexual preference, would the men be comfortable having him in the men’s comfort room? On the other hand, despite his sexual preference, he is biologically a man. Would the women be comfortable having him in the ladies’ comfort room?

Getting more and more confused as I debate about this in my head, I ended up asking if having a separate comfort room for gays the best option. Or is it really?

The name Messiah was blocked too, along with one-letter names such as C, D, I and T, and titles like Baron, Bishop, Duke, General, Judge, Justice, King, Knight and Mr.

This is due to the possibility that these names may scar the children as they grow up, just like what happened to the girl named Talula Does the Hula From Hawaii. She had her name legally changed at 9.

I’m fine with the titles, but Lucifer or Talula Does the Hula From Hawaii?! Why would you want to name your little bundle of joy such atrocious names? It’s like denying them of their first chance to live a normal life right at birth!

Matt McDaniel of Yahoo! Movies Movie Talk writes about it in this article. He says that the logo of the American Humane Association (AHA) — where the disclaimer “No animals were harmed” is prominently displayed — is not present in the R-rated film’s credits.

What’s surprising about this? Much of the story of The Hangover Part II involves a capuchin monkey that “guides” the film’s characters into solving the mystery of their forgotten day in Bangkok. According to the monkey’s trainer, the animal was very much safe throughout the entire shooting.

AHA was reportedly not invited to witness the filming of The Hangover Part II, and therefore cannot certify the safety of the animals involved in the movie.

I often visit Manila for business and must say I always enjoy my visit …apart from the bloody airport. Terminal 1 needs to be demolished. It is filthy, too small and WAY past its prime. Lines are insanely long, and I was shocked that I had to pay an airport tax for such a shithole. There were no toilet seats OR RUNNING WATER in the bathrooms! A big bucket with a dipper was by the front door and about four attendants hassled me for a tip. (trustma)

We hope the government and NAIA officials have made plans on addressing these issues. How can we attract investors and tourists if this is what welcomes them when they arrive?
