Although Coca-Cola insists that the real recipe remains in a bank vault in Atlanta, the newly released recipe has quickly spread across the Internet and has caused major buzz online. The radio show’s website reportedly crashed due to the high traffic it attracted.

“This American Life” has covered many serious stuff, like reports on what’s happening in Iraq, lengthy interviews with Guantanamo Bay prisoners, and exposés on hedge fund misdeeds, but the soft drink recipe revelation proved to be the site’s most popular feature.

Coca-Cola does not file trademark lawsuits against imitators even in the past when other “original recipes” have circulated, because it would have to reveal the real formula in court.

So, has the secret finally been revealed for real this time? People are trying out the recipe and are exchanging tips online to achieve the authentic Coke taste. But unless the company admits it’s the “Real Thing,” then we really would not know if it is.

Apparently not. The National Institute of Aviation and Space Agency of Indonesia ensures it is the work of humans.

I’m not into planting, so I just help in choosing and shopping for plants, planters and other accessories. I already got her different indoor and outdoor planters and hope to get a Window Box Planter soon too. It would be great to be greeted with beautiful flowers when I look out our windows.

As of now, we only have Planters made of strong plastic, but I saw that there are also those made of wood, fiberglass, ceramic, steel, aluminum, concrete and many other materials. The plastic planters are much cheaper, but I guess the serious gardeners would not mind spending more. After being recently interested in plants, we realized our next door neighbor actually has personalized planters and even topiary frames. Hmm.. We’ll get there, slowly but surely.

Isn’t that amazing? The fastfood chain’s famous meal resists decomposition even if left for a long time on a tabletop!

This experiment, called the Happy Meal Project, was arranged by Sally Davies, a photographer and artist based in New York. She performed this test as part of a challenge to prove to her friend that “any burger would mold or rot within two or three days of being left on a counter”. Now we see who’s proven wrong!

Davies says the only noticeable difference in the aged Happy Meal is its texture. She says “the food is plastic to the touch and has an acrylic sheen to it”.

I remember a friend who told me once that finding the right doctor is the key.
