Tony and Emmy winner Cynthia Nixon is showing everyone that you don’t need lots of hair products and hair stylists to look good.

She shaved her hair for her role as poetry professor with ovarian cancer in a Manhattan Theatre Club production of Wit. I know the premise behind her new look is supposed to be sad and all, but just please allow me to say this — she is rocking her bald look!

Wit is set to open on January 26 at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre.

Nixon, one of the four stars of Sex and the City, also battled breast cancer in 2006. She now serves as an ambassador of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
