Willie Revillame Back to Wowowee
I’m not sure if this is good news or bad news to most people, but Cristy Fermin, one of Willie Revillame‘s closest allies, has confirmed that the controversial host is set to return to the set of Wowowee. The comeback is reportedly due to the declining ratings of the once top noontime show, which actually provides the lead-in to the afternoon and primetime shows of ABS-CBN.
Bong Osorio, ABS-CBN Corporate Communications Head, stresses, though, that these are mere speculations and that Willie remains on “indefinite leave” while the network weighs in all its options.
With these, several questions surface — Does Cristy Fermin really possess the kind of credibility to back her statements? Is ABS-CBN willing to undergo the same harassment from Willie when he again feels like throwing a tantrum in the future? Do majority of the TV viewers really want Willie to come back?
