Agimat Inc., a Filipino company based in the US, has just landed a sweet spot in the iPhone / iPad App Store with its newly released game called Shadow Candy: SUGAR RUSH.

The game is based on the funky and popular web-based comic Shadow Candy by Agimat Comics. The stories are propelled by adorable ninja kids Hiro, Kaz and Sayaka. In the latest version of Shadow Candy: SUGAR RUSH, Hiro embarks on a quest for the Amai Crystal, in order to save the Mallow Tribe from impending extinction.

Reviews for the game are generally great and glowing. In fact, Shadow Game: SUGAR RUSH was featured as one of the “New and Noteworthy” Apps for iPad one week after its release. That’s good news — and another welcome source of national pride — for Filipinos everywhere.
