Personal Accident Insurance for only P50
Yep, that’s right. You get a PhP 50,000 Personal Accident Insurance for only PhP 50! With Sun Life‘s PA TXT card, you get a hassle-free insurance coverage that can be activated using a mobile phone. This is the most convenient and most affordable personal accident insurance I have ever heard of! We got 4 cards, which I activated for myself, my husband and my parents.
The personal accident insurance coverage is valid for a year and you can get a maximum of 2 cards for every person for a total coverage of PhP 100,000 per year. It is open to individuals of issuance ages between 5 and 64 years old.
The registration process consists of 2 steps. First, you have to send an SMS containing the PA TXT card number along with your details (name, birth date and occupation) to the number provided at the back of the card. You will then receive a confirmation message and will be asked to send another SMS containing the name, relationship and address of your beneficiary. After sending this second message, you will receive a message saying, “You are now covered for P50,000 accident insurance benefit for 1 full year under this certificate number. This is non-transferable.” So easy!
The PA TXT cards feature photos taken by actor Piolo Pascual during his travels here and abroad. There are 12 designs available, although the 4 cards we got all have the ‘Normandy, France’ design (image shown above). A portion of the sale goes to the Hebreo Foundation, which was founded by the Pascual siblings and helps send poor kids to school.
