The life of 14-year-old David Gibbons made a huge turn after a schoolmate at Crosby Ironton High School punched him in the groin as he changed classes.

It didn’t take long to declare a medical alert as David suffered from intense pain in the middle of the night. He was then rushed to the hospital, where the doctors decided to have his right testicle removed.

Sack tapping may sound fun to some, but the number of boys being rushed to hospitals for ruptured testicles and other complications of being punched in the groin is definitely no laughing matter.

David is now recovering physically and emotionally. His family has met with a lawyer, although no charges have been made yet.
