Google has released its first-ever playable Google Doodle in honor of the global hit game Pac-Man, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary today.

When you visit the Google homepage, you will see the Pac-Man maze that spells Google in it. Clicking the “Insert Coin” button, which replaces the “I’m Feeling Lucky” button activates the game and you can play Pac-Man right there and then. Clicking the “Insert Coin” button twice brings in Miss Pac-Man, so you and a friend can enjoy a 2-player game. The arrow keys control Pac-Man while the W, A, S and D keys control Miss Pac-Man.

The Pac-Man Google Doodle game will be up for 48 hours, starting midnight of May 22, based on the time in Japan, where Pac-Man was born.
