Lee DeWyze Wins American Idol Season 9!
After several weeks of singing their hearts and guts out, the end came with Crystal Bowersox and Lee DeWyze on the center stage.
In the end, the fans voted for Lee, who was very emotional even before Ryan Seacrest can make the final announcement. He was already near tears while Crystal still looked calm and collected, wearing a smile and trying to calm Lee down.
When asked by Ryan if he can describe how he felt when his name was called as American Idol Season 9 winner, Lee said he cannot describe it. It certainly is a magical night for Lee. He would have more to say later, that’s for sure.
Lee is from Mount Prospect, Illinois and was born April 2, 1986. He can play the piano and the guitar. He was not able to finish high school, and went to work as a paint salesman since age 15.

Crystal may be the better singer, but Lee has more charisma. I would have voted for him, if I could.
