You have probably already seen “Paano Na Kaya” starring Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson released last month. This month, Star Cinema is promoting “Miss You Like Crazy” with John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo to be released on February 24.

One cannot help but wonder what else is in store for moviegoers this year. Here are some of the power movies Star Cinema is brewing for 2010:

Anne Curtis and Sam Milby will be seen together again, at least on the big screen, with “Babe, I Love You”. It is set for release on April 3.

Gabby Concepcion and KC Concepcion will be doing their first movie together. There is still no final title, but some hinted on “Daddy’s Girl” or “The Daughter of the Groom”. Jericho Rosales is also in the movie as KC’s leading man.

Another interesting movie to watch out for is that featuring Piolo Pascual and Zaijian Jaranilla, more popularly known as Santino in the TV series “May Bukas Pa”.

Star Cinema is adding another installment to the ‘Tanging Ina’ series with “Cooking ng Ina Mo”. The undeniable success of Tanging Ina (2003), Ang Cute ng Ina Mo (2007), Ang Tanging Ina Nyong Lahat (2008), and Ang Tanging Pamilya (2009) must be worth another Wenn Deramas – Ai Ai delas Alas project.

After pairing with other young celebrities like Claudine Barreto (Kailangan Kita – 2002), Kristine Hermosa (All My Life – 2004), Angelica Panganiban (A Love Story – 2007), Anne Curtis (When Love Begins – 2008), Aga Muhlach comes back to do another movie with Star Cinema — this time, with Angel Locsin.

Robin Padilla and Toni Gonzaga are also set to do a movie together. Robin last worked with Star Cinema in “Videoke King” back in 2002.

Star Cinema is also planning for the 3rd installment to the John Lloyd Cruz – Sarah Geronimo blockbusters “A Very Special Love” (2008) and “You Changed My Life” (2009), although there has been no definite schedule yet considering the very busy schedules of John Lloyd and Sarah.

We might also get to see movies that will star Lorna Tolentino; Enchong Dee and Erich Gonzales; Zanjoe Marudo; Kanto Boys John Lloyd Cruz, Luis Manzano, Billy Crawford, and Vhong Navarro; and possibly Pinoy Big Brother Double Up Big Winner Melissa “Melai” Cantiveros and 2nd runner up Jason Francisco.
