We live in a free country with socially acceptable "norms" Are we really arguing about hair? The same argument that errupted in the 60's when long hair was inappropriate on men? We have violence in the streets, children using drugs, children on violent rampages in schools and an administration focuses on the length of hair of a 4 year old? He's only four for Heaven's sake how long can it be? Many times in life we must comply with expections for certain situations, but as a kid, let them have freedom, soon they will be adults and have fewer and fewer choices of free will but more decisions of responsibility. Personally I HATE long hair on men. My son has often grown his out. He is so handsome with it trimmed up and nice and neat. But the long and short of it (pun intended) it doesn't limit or define who he is.That administration must have a school FULL of perfect children to be able to focus this much time and attention on this issue.
